Supernatural Season 11 Spoilers: Will Kim Rhodes' Sheriff Jody Mills Fight Castiel/Lucifer?

The CW network continues Season 11 of Supernatural. As the war against the Darkness continues, will Sheriff Jody Mills (Kim Rhodes) find herself taking on Lucifer, who is now in possession of Castiel (Misha Collins)?

As we previously mentioned, all things have changed in the war against The Darkness. In his attempt to find another human vessel, Lucifer (Mark Pellegrino) thought of inhabiting Sam (Jared Padalecki). Knowing Sam and Dean needed a win desperately, Castiel sacrificed and left himself be taken over by Lucifer. Will Lucifer fulfill his promise and get rid of The Darkness, or have Sam and Dean already failed.

Sheriff Jody Mills adopted a surrogate daughter, Alex (Katherine Ramdeen), as if she were her own blood. With her blood addictions., Alex had been used by vampires to lure in humans. Then Jody's family grew as the daughter of Castiel's human vessel, Claire Novak (Sydney Imbeau), joined them.

In an interview with the Nerdist, Rhodes explains where the relationship between Jody and Alex is, "Katherine [Ramdeen] and I talked about this to make sure we were on the same page, because so much time had passed. And we agreed there's maternal love, but at the same time there's an awareness I'm not her mom, so it's like a mentor-mentee relationship. I have a great deal of pride for her. She's really blossomed in her environment. When I talked to her in the episode with Briana, I was like, "She's smoking weed underneath the bleachers," but now she's really blossomed into, by all accounts, a very successful normal girl and I take a great deal of pride in that. I'm proud of her.

The Suite Life of Zack & Cody actress also hints at Claire, "The thing is, Jody and Alex bonded. They had an experience. You can have all the good intentions in the world, but until you have an experience that brings you together, you're still [just] roommates. Now, that said, Jody does love Claire. Loves her. But I think Claire is a much harder person for her to understand because Jody sees the right thing to do and she does it."
