Shannen Doherty shows everyone how a girl stands up to cancer by posting a picture of her getting a new round of cancer treatment. A picture of the "Charmed" actress sitting on a treatment chair wearing a hospital gown was posted on her Instagram account. "First day of radiation treatment. I look like I'm about to make a run for it which is accurate."

Bald and brave, Shannen said that she is frightened about radiation but she is sure that she will get used to it. She ended her post with hashtags #radiationmondaysucks and #stillfightinglikeagirl.

E! News reported Shannen's latest ordeal in her fight against breast cancer. The 45-year old actress was diagnosed in 2015 while she was suing her manager for not taking care of her medical insurance. She opened up about her condition last month saying that she and husband Kurt Iswarienko are personally handling her treatment.

The "Beverly Hills 90210" actress mentioned that cancer has changed her life and was completely someone different from what she was six months ago. She described cancer as something that tears and rebuilds a person which was what exactly happened to her. Cancer has made her marriage stronger despite its difficult times.

It was actually in People where Shannen first opened up about her condition in August 2015. She admitted having cancer and getting treatment. She mentioned that she was eating right, exercising and staying positive after everything that has happened.

Shannen is grateful for her family and fans for their support but she thanks most of all her team of medical experts that have helped her during her treatment. She once shared a video of her getting a shot from her nurse during one of her treatments. She captioned the post with "Chemo day. I'm lucky to have such a great team!!!"

Aside from posting regularly about her condition, the "Gone in the Night" star has became an active member of cancer awareness groups, has attended events and has been very active in social media promoting cancer support and awareness.
