‘The Walking Dead’ Star Austin Nichols Now In ‘Bates Motel’ Season 5

The former 'The Walking Dead" member Austin Nichols is now joining "Bates Motel" cast starting Season 5.  Nichol's final appearance in TWD was in Season 7 as Spencer Monroe.

The actor will be playing Sam Lommis, a movie based character that includes Rihanna alongside his performance.  Lommis' role is described as a mysterious and charismatic new arrival in White Pine Bay opposite to Norman Bates (Freddie Highmore) behavior since star, that give place to a confrontation and lies in between.

Nichol's entrance is inspired in one of Hitchcock's character, the 1960 psycho film. Sam's role in the movie has a relationship with a woman named Marion Crane which will be interpreted by Rihanna, the world famous pop singer, according to Ibtimes News.

The story follows Marion unhappy relationship with Sam (Austin Nichols) and her desire to be far from him once for all. Rihanna's role had the chance to run away after his boss asks her to deposit an amount of money in the bank, which she accepts and never comes back. She steals the money and lands in Bates Motel where she meets Norman, the hotel manager.

Sam figures out Marion's plan and he go after her. On episode one fans would know what's next for Sam, Marion and Norman Bates psycho drama.  Hopefully the wait is until February 20, explain Comic Book News

The partner of Austin Nichols this season is described as "the sorta sexy devil for whom a woman might consider embezzling a small fortune," shares Tv line News.

Nichol's more notable roles include "One Tree Hill," "John from Cincinnati", "The Mob Doctor" on Fox,  NBC's "Friday Night Lights", "Deadwood" on HBO and also in "Ray Donovan" Showtime.

Austin Nichols' special appearance at Bates Motel may hopefully extend until the next season .
