Ryan Gosling has teamed up again with director Nicolas Winding Refn for their follow-up to Drive. Just like 2011's dark and gory action drama, the two are set to bring you the next chapter in their partnership with Only God Forgives this year. This time, the violence is the main focus of the film, with Gosling living in Thailand and taking part in Muay Thai boxing and shady business. The film's tagline is "Time to meet the Devil," so do with that what you will. So far we have only seen some intense trailers, but today we get to see a quick behind-the-scenes clip of Gosling and Refn discussing the violence.

"Violence is like sex," Refn explains to Gosling, who is visibly amused in this short clip. As the director of Drive, Valhalla Rising and Bronson tries to explain his vision to the Hollywood heartthrob, Gosling keeps looking at the camera and one time asks, "Did you get that?"

These two men have an interesting relationship. They previously worked on Drive together, which showed a side of Gosling that many had yet to see. He was dark, brooding and pretty much silent. In Only God Forgives, it looks like Gosling and Refn have elaborated on that character a bit and made him into Julian, a violent man out for revenge.

This behind-the-scenes look at the film might be brief, but we get some glimpses at Gosling training in the boxing ring as well as some choreography of some scenes we will see when the film comes out.

Enjoy the first behind the scenes look at Only God Forgives and check back from time to time because more clips are reportedly expected to pop up. This video was first posted on the movie's Facebook page
