Lindsay Lohan has reportedly checked out of the Betty Ford Center and has moved into Cliffside Malibu to complete rest of her 90-day court-ordered rehabilitation sentence that started on May 3, 2013. Cliffside is a drug and alcohol rehab center based in Los Angeles and is two-acre a luxury facility that overlooks the Pacific Ocean and advertises a pool, meditation gardens and a professional chef. Lohan has allegedly faced "several problems" at Ford and left in response.
The prosecutors and the judge involved in Lindsay's case as well as her lawyer allegedly approved this move from Betty Ford to Cliffside Malibu. These are the same people who agreed that Betty Ford is better for a 30-day program as opposed to the 90-day sentence she is required to complete. According to a source, Adderall is most likely not allowed at Cliffside, just like the Betty Ford Center.
As part of a plea deal to avoid jail time for a hit-and-run incident in Malibu, Lohan agreed to a 90-day sentence served in a rehab facility in lieu of jail time. The 26-year-old actress has about two more months of treatment to complete, ending around early August. According to E! News, Lindsay is planning on attended to Venice Film Festival on August 28th for the screening of her film The Canyons.
Though she apparently had "several problems" with Betty Ford, last month her mother Dina was telling another story.
"I just spoke to Lindsay at Betty Ford. She's doing great," Dina said to the New York Daily News on Mother's Day of this year. "She's clear, she's happy, she's healthy... She just needs to breathe and find out who she is again. And she's going to stay there and do that."
