LeBron James and the Miami Heat defeated Tim Duncan and the San Antonio Spurs, 103-100, in an instant classic Game 6 of the 2013 NBA Finals in which the Heat dramatically forced a Game 7.

And Dwight Howard missed it all.

According to gossip site TMZ, Howard was eating dinner at Crustacean in Beverly Hills in Los Angeles as the two teams battled in Game 6. Sources in the restaurant told TMZ that Howard was "nowhere near the TV during the game" and he instead simply ate dinner with friends for the duration.

The big man confirmed this to the camera crew as he left the restaurant.

"I didn't even see it," Howard said.

When asked which team he wanted to win, Howard responded honestly.

"I'm not watching. I'm not playing, so ain't no need to be (watching)," Howard said. "I don't want to see nobody win a championship. "

Howard played for the Los Angeles Lakers last season but his union with Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash did not go as planned. The team battled through injuries all season, finished seventh in the Western Conference with a 45-37 record and were swept by the San Antonio Spurs in the first round of the playoffs in four games.

Bryant and Howard also had problems getting along throughout the season and the seemingly never-ending free agent saga of Dwight Howard could begin again sooner rather than later.
