Michael Strahan joins Good Morning America; did anchor Robin Roberts have a helping hand with new job?

Its official, Michael Strahan is joining the Good Morning America team just days after Josh Elliott announced he was moving to NBC.

According to ABC sources, the Live with Kelly and Michael TV host will appear during the 8:00 a.m. hour of GMA 3 to 4 times a week.

Strahan will take on the roles of features, lifestyle, sports and everything else newsworthy.

According to reports, the future for GMA is in a lot of trouble, Elliott's leave to join rival NBC this past weekend, was a bitter one; and many have revealed that Lara Spencer and Amy Robach hate each other.

Although there is no word on where Strahan's future stands for Live with Kelly and Michael one thing is for sure, if Robin Roberts can anchor GMA, and stand in as a special guest on the Live with Kelly and Michael show, then we are sure he knows just how to juggle both shows at the moment.

Strahan did step in at GMA when Roberts was out sick; so this could have helped the former NY Giants star out.
