Taylor Swift Conor Kennedy Romance: Kennedys Are the Lucky Ones, Grandmother Says

Taylor Swift and Conor Kennedy are an item now.  They were spotted enjoying a romantic weekend together at the Kennedy compound and neighborhood.  They even attended church together on Sunday (July 29).

What does the Kennedy clan think of her?

"We love her. She's awesome." said Rory Kennedy said of Swift at the Television Critics Association summer tour.  "She's a great friend of all of ours."

Rory, Conor's aunt, was in attendance for "Ethel", the film she had directed revolving around the life of her mother Ethel Kennedy.  Ethel was at the press event to answer questions about the film as well.  Swift questions were asked, naturally.

Ethel herself explained how the Kennedys befriended Swift.  Contrary to rumors, it wasn't Ethel who had tried to orchestrate Swift's attendance to the Kennedy's Fourth of July activities.

It was at a concert that Rory brought her two daughters to attend where they met.

"Rory went to a concert with her two little girls, and that's what started it all: her children," said Ethel.

Swift impressed them and was even invited to join the family at the Sundance Film Festival for the premiere of "Ethel".

When the question was asked to Ethel about whether or not Swift would be a good addition to the Kennedy family, she said, "We should be so lucky."  

Looks like the Kennedys were "enchanted" to meet Swift.
