Beyonce Knowles invites her fans to get real close and personal in her new HBO documentary. The international singer and now mommy of Blue Ivy admits to her fears of opening up too much, but will try her best to let her fans have a glimpse of her personal life.
In the HBO trailer Beyonce opens up saying, "I always battle with how much I reveal about myself." She said in the voice over, "If I'm scared, be scared. Allow it. Release it."
Beyonce shows raw footage of her tiny baby bump, makeup free face, moments with her husband (Jay-Z) and other behind the season moments in the studio working on her next project. The singer first revealed that she would be doing the documentary, which she would direct and executive produce. In a statement the "Single Ladies" singer said, "HBO has a history of pushing every boundary with class and authenticity." Beyonce added, "Some of my favorite shows are on HBO, so I am excited that my film will be part of its bold programming. This film was so personal to me; it had to have the right home."
The HBO documentary is set to be released on February 16. Watching the trailer, the quick tease does make you want to watch more.
