Even though the Cleveland Cavaliers lost in game one of the NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors, some good news did come out of the game. After taking a fall in overtime, Kyrie Irving collapsed and grabbed his knee after he drove the ball across the court. Staff doctors thankfully found no damage to Irving's anterior cruciate ligament or medial collateral ligament. In other words, his ACL and MCL are still well intact.

After the game, Irving said he's going to be careful with his knee moving forward.

"You can hear in the tone of my voice that I'm a little worried," Irving said. "I just want to make sure everything is OK, and I'm going to take the necessary steps to see what's going on."

A source close to the Cavaliers said the team is hopeful that Irving didn't suffer any structural damage. They'll be waiting on the test results before he's able to hit the court and join Lebron James and the rest of his team against the Warriors.

Lebron said it was tough to see his teammate in pain. Irving was noticeably limping off the court in those closing minutes.

"It was very tough to see," LeBron said. "I've seen how hard he worked these last eight days just to get himself to play at this level tonight."

Warriors Coach Steve Kerr is also holding out hope for Irving. Kerr wants the Cavs healthy in this.

"It's something I hate to see," Kerr said. "I hope he's OK for the rest of the series."

It's a shame to see Irving hurt. He had a great game despite the Cavaliers loss. In it, he scored 23 points, had 7 rebounds, 6 assists, 4 steals and 2 blocked shots. One of the biggest moments in the game came when he blocked Steph Curry late in the fourth quarter. It was this block that got the Cavs to overtime.

Just want to thank everyone for the birthday wishes. Truly means a lot.
