It would be pretty tough to turn down the opportunity to appear in a rap video, but what if it ended up costing you your job? That appears to be exactly what happened to Southampton High School's assistant principal Esther Adler-O'Keefe after making an appearance in J.R.'s booty-twerking, wild-party-themed music video "Best Friend" ft. Trey Songz.

Obviously, Southhampton's school district doesn't know how to appreciate a little bit of good old fashion booty twerking. At least not when one of their staff members is involved!

According to Esquire, when Southhampton Assistant High School principal Esther Adler-O'Keefe signed on to appear in JR's "Best Friend" ft. Trey Songz music video, she wasn't aware of what she was getting herself into. O'Keefe claims that she was un-aware of the content, lyrics, and title of the video beforehand.

The ex-principal, who can be seen in the beginning of the video playing the part of the woman leaving Trey Songz to watch her house while she is on vacation, truly does appear to have the most innocent role in the entire music video. She even went so far as to warn the rapper by saying "Enjoy yourself. Just remember, security's here," but that didn't stop Southhampton's School District from giving her the boot.

On firing O'Keefe over her twerk-heavy rap music video appearance, the school districts superintendent, Dr. Scott Farina, told the Southhampton Press:

"The video in question showcases behaviors and language use that is not promoted by the Southampton School District. In fact, we actively teach our students the importance of good character and making smart choices. Additionally, this is not representative of who we are as a district, nor of our students and staff."

Come on guys, a little bit of twerking never hurt anyone! It's pretty safe to say that innocent or not, O'Keefe is sure to go down in history for being one of the most awesome principals of all time! But it really is too bad that she had to lose her job in the process.
