Thursday, Dej posted a message confirming her single status:

"Love lasts longer with work if you're a lover, in love, you have to be a loving person. And loving, is an action. It requires an effort, an energy. Most importantly, a consistency. How long does it take to write "I love you, you make me so happy" in your own handwriting and place it somewhere secretly? No time. How long does that action last for? A long time. It's always, always, the little things that go the furthest. It's the sum of all things that add up, in a big way. Water your love, @pinelopis watch it flourish in something beautiful."

She captioned, "I'm such a lover. #Single"

Despite rumors of her dating Lil Durk and Aye Redd she denied boh relationships during an interview with Hot 97, "I'm single. I've been single for quite some time now." She explained that rumors of her alleged ex-girlfriend started about their dating life were untrue, "it's pretty much BS. Like, I'm pretty much single and that's all that really matters. Nothing really matters." She joked, "Nobody deserves me, I'm chillin'."

When asked about her sexuality and whether she preferred men or women she remained neutral, "I prefer genuine people. I just love people."

Fake who you in love with. Fake your character. Fake your pride. Fake what you believe in because of what others might perceive you as. I just can't go out like that. I can only be me. Not hiding sh*t."

Dej Loaf responded by to the red-haired beauty via Twitter writing, "They'll be so quick to say you've changed, when it's really them who aren't growing."
