Pittsburgh Steelers star Le'Veon Bell has been given a 15-month probation after his drug charge and arrest for a DUI and possession of marijuana with former teammate and newly-crowned Super Bowl champion, New England Patriots running back LeGarrette Blount. Bell will reportedly be suspended for the first two games of the 2015 NFL season. As a first time offender, 22 year old Bell had his license suspended for 60 days, but can have his arrest record expunged after completing his probationary program. Read More »

LA Clippers point guard and insurance salesman Chris Paul has been embroiled in a sexism scandal after he slammed female NBA ref Lauren Holtkamp, calling her ridiculous and saying NBA refereeing "might not be for her." After the Clippers lost 105-94 to LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers, Paul -- who is also the head of the NBA Players Association -- apparently upset that a GIRL told him what to do, lambasted Holtkamp's decision to call him for a tech in the third quarter of the game. Holtkamp is only the third full-time female referee in all of the major professional US sports (all in the NBA). Yeah. Will Smith has finally voiced his opinions on Jimmy Fallon's 'Fresh Prince of Bel-Air' parody, calling the shot-for-shot remake "fantastic". The 'Focus' actor also revealed to 'The Tonight Show' host that it's difficult to parent effectively with hiccups... And why his kids Jaden and Willow Smith don't think their dad is cool. Spike Lee will finally be able to live out all of his Eddie fantasies: the New York Knicks most famous fan will be a coach for NBA All-Star weekend at Madison Square Garden. Well. The He Got Game director will be coaching the NBA All-Star Celebrity Challenge at least. Lee will be in command alongside actual basketball player, Knicks star and, um, entreprenuer Carmelo Anthony, and the two will be going head-to-head against ESPN's Mike & Mike (Mike Greenberg and Mike Golic) for some reason... that's not at all to do with the fact that ESPN are broadcasting the game. They'll be coaching celebrities such as loudmouth and 3-time celebrity game MVP Kevin Hart, Just Wright actor/rapper Common, Mariah Carey's ex-husband Nick Cannon, and NBA owner Robert Pera who isn't a celebrity. The Orlando Magic have fired their terrible (by all statisitcal means) coach Jacque Vaughn. After three years and a 58-158 win-loss record, the underachieving NBA team have decided to move on from their "trusted friend and colleague" and architect of their current 10 game losing streak, according to the team. The Magic also fired assistant coaches Wes Unseld Jr., Brett Gunning and Zack Guthrie, Magic General Manager Rob Hennigan has announced. Magic assistant coach James Borrego will reportedly take over as interim coach, with the Magic sitting at 15 wins and 37 losses... the exact same record they had after 52 games last season. Various reports have former Magic point guard Scott Skiles, as well as Mike Malone and (gulp) Vinny Del Negro, as coaching targets for the Florida team. Read More »
