Basketball's back for the official 2015-2016 NBA season, so get ready, MstarsNews readers!

The Cleveland Cavaliers battle it out on the court against the Minnesota Timberwolves in Week 10 of the regular season on Friday, January 8 at 8:00 p.m. EST from the Target Center in Minneapolis. Read on to see where fans can watch and listen to a live stream of the highly-anticipated Friday evening basketball game online and catch up-to-date feeds and coverage on highlight plays and scores.

Now heading into mid-season, Cleveland maintains a rather impressive top spot in Marc Stein's official NBA power rankings for ESPN.com, while Minnesota still lags way behind (out of a total 30 teams):

Cavaliers (4): "LeBron James checked in for his 31st birthday last week at more than 5,000 points ahead of all-time leading scorer Kareem Abdul-Jabbar at the same age. Yet for the purposes of his immediate goal - bringing that first crown to long-suffering Cleveland - far more relevant is the way LeBron's Cavs have sneaked up to No. 3 in defensive efficiency."

Record: 24-9 (1st in Eastern Conference).

Timberwolves (26): "LeBron James will be in Minneapolis on Friday for an ESPN game, providing ample justification to keep our focus on Karl-Anthony Towns and his heady PER of 22.0. That's nearly four PER points better than Rookie LeBron and topped by only four rooks since 1966: David Robinson (26.3), Shaquille O'Neal (22.9), Tim Duncan (22.6) and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (22.5)."

Record: 12-24 (13th in Western Conference).

Tonight's game will be broadcasted live on local sports channels ESPN and FSOH.
