Teen Mom star Catelynn Lowell has much to celebrate this year with the birth of her daughter Novalee and getting married to her high school sweetheart Tyler Baltierra, but she shocked MTV fans recently by revealing she had postpartum depression after having the baby. Not only that, but it seems she has been battling depression for many years.

"I didn't really know and I still don't know what's going on with my postpartum," the reality mom told Life & Style, via The Hollywood Gossip. "For a while I felt fine, but I've always suffered from depression, anxiety and panic attacks."

Catelynn also went on about her long time love Tyler being there for her as a rock while she deal with her issues.

"Tyler is my backbone and helps me a lot," she said. "He pushes me and will make me do things like go for a walk so [the depression] goes away."

"It's a daily struggle," she ended matter-of-factly.

This isn't the first time the Michigan mom delved deep into her many years dealing with depression. She first posted a message on Instagram about her anxiety and depression after Robin Williams's death and then gave an interview about it with In Touch Weekly.

"My depression and anxiety were so severe," Catelynn told the gossip mag while she was pregnant with Nova. "I didn't want to live another day."

"I started having severe panic and anxiety attacks in the middle of the night, which led me into a deep depression," she continued. "I couldn't stop crying. I felt I'd be better off dead. I needed help."

The MTV star also had revealed her love helped her get help and even went through what she's going through.

"Tyler has battled depression and knows what it looks like, so he made my first [Psychiatrist] appointment," Catelynn divulged.
