Watch the Golden Globe-winning Taraji P. Henson as she brings back the sexy and sassy as Cookie Lyon in an all new season of Empire premiering March 30. Fox announced an early renewal for the series last week and dropped the promo video to give fans a glimpse at the latest Lyon family drama spearheaded by Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard) as he threatens his son, Hakeem Lyon (Bryshere Gray).
According to Entertainment Weekly, last season, the smash-hit series averaged over 21 million viewers across multiple platforms and earned a 7.3 rating among adults 18-49.Empire was also recognized at the 2016 Golden Globes with a nomination for Best Television Series-Drama. Fans can expect more of the top-quality programming when the show returns in two months.
