Chris Hemsworth Plays Coy on Rumored Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth Reunion

Rumors have run rampant since Monday that Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are not only back together, but possibly even engaged again after Cyrus posted a picture to Instagram with what looks like her former engagement ring on her left ring finger. When asked about the rumored on-again couple, Liam's brother, Chris Hemsworth, played coy.

During an appearance on an Australian talk show Tuesday, the Thor star was asked if Cyrus and Liam were back together. Chris replied, "Not that I know of mate," but he went on to say, "I would find out through the press. I find out last most of the time."

The elder Hemsworth's proclaimed innocence is interesting, though, considering Liam and Cyrus were both seen Down Under at a music festival with Chris and his wife, Elsa Pataky, over New Year's.

Fans reported seeing Liam and Cyrus cuddling up and kissing, immediately sparking rumors of a reconciliation. The two were together from 2009 to 2012, when they got engaged. They ultimately called off their relationship in September 2013.

Of course, the rumors hit hyper drive Monday when Cyrus posted a photo to Instagram that prominently featured a ring on her left hand that looked suspiciously like her engagement ring from Liam.

That same day, multiple outlets reported that moving vans had been seen outside Liam's Malibu residence over the holiday weekend. TMZ reported that the move, although highly publicized on Monday, had actually been occurring all of last week with the help of Cyrus' friends. The outlet also reported that the pair had actually been back together since the fall, but were keeping their romance to themselves.

This would make sense, as Cyrus allegedly helped Liam adopt a dog back in November.

Cyrus' Instagram post aside, the couple has yet to publicly confirm or deny the rumors.
