Mendeecees Harris Says Final Words & Eats 'Last Meal' at Red Stixs Before Going to Prison

The time has come for Mendeecees Harris to turn himself in and head to prison for eight years. But before he started his sentence on Tuesday, Harris enjoyed one "last meal" with his family and friends at a high end Chinese restaurant, Red Stixs, and also gave his final words to his fans.

Below, Harris enjoyed a delicious meal surrounded by his support system. His wife, Yandy Smith, and their two kids, Skylar, and Omere, along with Harris' older two boys, were all in attendance.

Via Instagram, Harris wrote a lenghtly statement to his followers that thanks the people who supported him throughout his case. Harris claimed that at one time in his life he was young and "closed-minded," but now the Love and Hip Hop New York star said that he was "wiser."

In the statement, the father of four said that he grew up with nothing and encouraged fathers to raise their sons to become men.

"Fathers, go raise men! Men to lead their family. Men to do the right thing. No matter what you had to do or may still be doing raise them babies right! Also, when you raise a man you teach an individual but when you raise a woman you build a nation. Protect our nation builders fellas!"

He also wanted his fans and followers to keep his family in their prayers and said that he would update everyone through his page that is now being handled by his brother.

MStars News previously reported that the family took a trip to Disney World last week before Harris turned himself into the Allenwood Low federal prison in Pennsylvania.

Harris was earlier found guilty of transporting drugs in the New York area. His brother, along with another man, were also involved. They are currently serving their time behind bars.

It truly will be a tough time as Smith holds it together while raising her young children, and her stepchildren. Smith will also be celebrating her daughter Skylar's first birthday next week without her husband by her side.
