Reports confirm that rapper Eminem's troubled sister-in-law Dawn Scott was found dead from an apparent drug overdose on Tuesday (January 19).

Scott (40) was the twin of Slim Shady's infamous ex-wife, Kim Mathers. The former couple actually adopted Scott's young daughter Alaina because of her mother's horrible addiction. Scott supposedly asked the infamous "Rap God" for assistance on several occasions, but still ended-up homeless back in 2014.

According to Radar Online, Warren Michigan police authorities announced that Scott died after "an apparent heroin overdose, pending a toxicology test." Scott's lifeless body was discovered in Unit D-39 of the Motor City Trailer Park, (very close to Em's Detroit hometown on 8 Mile).

Scott once said, "I have a millionaire brother-in-law and a sister with money up the a$$, but they're refusing to give me any help."

Les Martin - Scott's on-and-off again roommate over the past four years - supposedly called Kim repeatedly, seeking any sort of available aid (but to no avail):

"I've been trying like hell to save her life," he reveals. "I've had numerous conversations with Kim about trying to get her help and it just wasn't a conversation she wanted to have... She wanted to let Dawn go. I was so frustrated - I was like, 'Do you have a $10 million insurance policy on her?'"

Back in August, Scott told Radar:

"One night I called my sister and told her I had nowhere to go. She said, 'That's not my problem. Don't bother me,' and hung up."

Martin explains that before her tragic death, Scott was "doing any kind of drugs she could get her hands on... Heroin, cocaine, Adderall. If it was a pill, she would take it. Klonopin were her downfall. She was swallowing them things like candy."

Stay tuned as more details become available. Alaina (now a teenager) is still under the care of Eminem and her aunt.
