‘Star Trek’s’ Chris Pine Sings Winter Storm Jonas Blizzard School Closings on ‘Jimmy Kimmel'

Star Trek lead Chris Pine isn't apparently just a pretty face; he's also got some stellar pipes. The actor recently appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and delivered an oh-so-holiday-spirited tune in order to tell viewers on the east coast which schools are closed as a result of the blizzard from winter storm Jonas.

You've heard of Jonas; it's that storm New Jersey Governor Chris Christie claims left "no risidual damage" to the southern end of his state, but apparently did, according to NJ residents.

Anyway, if you're a kid, snow days themselves are great. But if you're a parent, they are oftentimes not nearly as fun—largely because you still have to work. Which is exactly why Kimmel wanted to bring some (post) New Year cheer.

"On the east coast a lot of the schools will be closed tomorrow, which is great if you're a kid," Kimmel said. "Not so great for parents, especially parents who work."

Kimmel then noted that he believes the show has discovered a way to make snow days more fun for those aforementioned parents. "Here now to sing some of tomorrow's real school closings- these are actual schools that will not be in session tomorrow because of weather- please welcome Chris Pine, ladies and gentlemen!"

Alongside delivering the schools that were closed earlier this week, Pine had a good message for kids via the song's lyrics:

Play Xbox and eat Cheetos / You're in luck / Learning sucks / Go home, schools are closed!

So, readers, were you off from school...or work? Let us know!
