Bill O’Reilly Urges Donald Trump to Attend Fox News Debate Despite Megyn Kelly Feud

Fox News anchor Bill O'Reilly put his friendship with Donald Trump aside on Wednesday night's episode of The O'Reilly Factor, telling the GOP frontrunner that he believes he should attend Thursday night's Fox News debate. Trump recently came out noting that he would not be going to the debate due to Fox News' supposed disrespect and, most of all, moderator Megyn Kelly.

Trump and Kelly have a bit of a rocky history, as the latter was accused (by Trump) of treating him unfairly during the primary Republican debate, in which she asked him a question about his attitude towards women in the past. Which, Trump tells O'Reilly, ended up working out in his favor considering his answering—that he only disrespected Rosie O'Donnell.

Of course, Kelly disagreed.

After the debate, Trump's supposed implication that Kelly was on her period during the event went viral, and thus created even more of a tension between the two. Plus, there's this recent tweet:

For the record, O'Reilly admitted that had he been the debate moderator last August, he too would have asked Trump about his comments against women—especially after he took down fellow Republican candidate Carly Fiorina's looks.

Anyway, all of this seems like no reason whatsoever, to O'Reilly, that Trump should pull out of Thursday night's debate. But the former reality TV star is saying it also has to do with the "stupidity of Fox" and the network as a whole.

After being told he was "making a big mistake," Trump shot back explaining that "every online poll" has mentioned that he has won each and every Republican debate. He further stated that the Democrats completed their six debates (behind football games, apparently), which only made him feel Republicans should focus on things other than debates.
