Kung Fu Panda 3 Cast: Bryan Cranston Dishes Being Jack Black's Dad In Animated Sequel! [VIDEO]

DreamWorks Animation is about to bring in all the heart and martial arts action in Kung Fu Panda 3. In the third animated sequel starring the lovable Po (voiced by Jack Black), a blast from past is about to change everything as his long-lost father Li (Bryan Cranston)in this must-see video.

According to Coming Soon, the third installment finds Po (Black) as a renowned and legendary adventurer of awesomeness. Now he must a different kind of threat, one that strike a little closer to home. When Po's long-lost panda father, Li (Cranston) suddenly reappears, the reunited duo travels to a secret panda paradise. Ss they meet with scores of hilarious new panda characters, the supernatural villain Kai (JK Simmons) sweeps across China defeating all the kung fu masters. Po must save his fun-loving, clumsy brethren and train them to become the ultimate band of Kung Fu Pandas.

In an interview with Collider, producer Melissa Cobb reveals how the story came about, " But the big core ideas of Po's father returning, the villain from the spirit realm, and Po actually battling the villain were always there, from the very beginning. It really comes down to execution and the best way to tell this story. There are always many paths and many ways to tell any story, but it's about finding the one that feels right for the characters and right for the movie. That's the funnest part of the process."

And now, MovieTickets.com and DreamWorks have released a special promo starring "The One Who Knocks" himself. This critic really hopes you get that Breaking Bad reference because he thought it was funny. The Godzilla actor really lets loose in this behind-the-scenes production. You can obviously feel the Argo actor's enthusiasm for the animated movie.

Kung Fu Panda 3 hits theaters on Friday, January 29.
