X-Men: Apocalypse has a new set of actors to portray some of the franchise's most popular characters. Game of Thrones' very own Sansa Stark, SophieTurner, plays as Jean Grey replacement for Famke Janssen. Turner was asked what differences would be evident in her character in comparison to Janssen's Jean Grey. Turner admitted that her character as Jean Grey has a different relationship with Charles Xavier as to what Patrick Stewart's Xavier and Janssen's Grey had with the other X-Men.

The actress even insists that with James McAvoy's portrayal, Jean Grey is just like his adoptive daughter. While talking to Digital Spy, the actress said, "They have this unspoken bond because he's telepathic as well, he's gone through the same things. He's very powerful and he sees that growing in her. He wants to protect her and help her control her powers, but also, help her access the best of her ability. They have a really sweet relationship."

Despite claiming to have a cloying relationship with the Professor X, Turner made sure that her Jean Grey does not have any "sexual" factor for the Professor. Plus, we all know Xavier does have a soft spot for girls who are afraid of their own skin, remember Mystique? Yes.

Along with Turner as new casts for X-Men Apocalypse are Tye Sheridan as Cyclops replacing James Marsden. Halle Berry's Storm will be taken over by Alexandra Shipp while Kodi Smit-McPhee becomes Alan Cumming's younger incarnation of Nightcrawler.

With brief glimpses of the new characters, world's destruction and well, basically, the apocalypse, X-Men: Apocalypse is the prequel of X-Men: Days of the Future Past all X-men fans have been waiting for. X-Men Apocalypse is set to hit the theatres on May 27, 2016.
