Rapper Eminem currently isn't focused on producing new music - or is he?

In a recent interview with Ambrosia For Heads, fellow Detroit emcee Royce da 5'9" insinuats that the infamous "Rap God" has discreetly "disappeared" into the studio - again.

When asked about releasing another Bad Meets Evil album, the Slaughterhouse hypeman explains:

"I would love to. It's just a [timing] thing. Marshall [Mathers] has been in the studio and [he's] not really responsive. I hit him up and he is not calling me back as quick as he used to - which tells me [and indicates] he's busy doing something. I don't know what it is. You will never know [with] that guy."

Interesting...

How about recording another epic collaboration with Slim Shady?

"I would love to. The only place I can see that kind of track existing is on [a] Bad Meets Evil album."

Remember, this hip-hop duo formed back in 1999 with some help from mutual industry buddy, Proof.

Well, if the rumors ARE true this time, Twitter fans are clearly pumped!

@aSUNBURNTginger: "Only thing I need in life is for Eminem to drop a new album."

@VShady17: "@Eminem we can't wait another year or more for a new album! give us something!"

@andrinayoussef: "If only Eminem can make a new album I'll just be the happiest person."

@michaelswalgren: "@Eminem please please please make a new album soon [pray]."

@Angieelora_: "If the rumors are true, my year going to be lit if Eminem drops a new album [fire]."

During the same discussion, Royce talked about his greatest influences:

"I got influences on different levels. I'm lyrically influenced by some people and I got people who influenced me in business. Jay-Z always gonna be inspiration to me (number one), because I grew up listening to him. Marshall, of course. My man, Eminem. I'm always inspired by him lyrically and from a business perspective. King Los really inspired me lyrically. I like a lot of battle rappers - I'm inspired by Drake, Kendrick [Lamar], J. Cole... those juggernauts."
