Marlon Williams Real World Star Sexuality Controversy [VIDEO]: MTV 'Real World Portland' aka Jay Dillinger Not Gay, Says He's Straight

The "Real World" the reality TV show that paved the way for "The Real Housewives," "Love & Hip Hop," and "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," is back for its 28^th season, with "The Real World: Portland." 

With more than two decades in production and more than 100 characters casted, the "Real World" introduces a new set of diverse castemates, including Marlon Williams, 25, a former Texas Tech football star, with rapper ambitions (his stage name is Jay Dillinger) who is not shy about his sexual past.

In a recent interview with The Advocate, Williams, a military brat raised by his preacher father (after his parents divorced when he was six-months old), opened up about how he identifies himself sexually as a "straight" man, although he has had sex with men. "Well, I don't consider myself bisexual, because I'm not sexually attracted to men. I did have sex with a man but my reasoning for it was different," Williams told The Advocate. "It was in a hectic time of my life filled with fighting a lot of life battles. I was just making a lot of decisions that I would not normally make. At that time in my life the gay community embraced me, and it is one of those things that just happened."

In traditional MTV "Real World" casting fashion, Williams' sexual encounters with men is just a part of his life story, according to his "Real World" Bio.  Marlon has been through a lot. He saw his mother for the first time at her funeral as a teen, he was a college football star from Lubbock, Texas pressured to go pro, and after getting cut from a Canadian team he battled with depression. But beyond the Marlon Williams role that he will play on the reality hit series, there is also another identity that Williams is introducing to the camera.  Marlon the rapper as, Jay Dillinger, a combination of "new swag and old school flavor."

Williams is introducing the world to both Marlon and Jay with his budding rap career and MTV reality debut.  He performed at SXSW, released two mixtapes, and recently chatted with XXL about how rapping just "fell into his lap."
