True Blood SEASON 6 PREMIERE DATE [VIDEO]: HBO' Sizzling Bloodsucking Summer Hit Back with More Drama from Sookiei, Bill, and ALL of Bon Temps
It’s going to be a bloody hot summer! HBO announced the return of ‘True Blood” to premiere Sunday, June 16 at 9 pm.
Sookie, Bill, and a host of new cast members will take us into the mystical dark bayous of Bon Temps. New cast members include; British actor Rob Kazinsky as a new love interest for Sookie and Rutger Hauer as Macklyn, "a mysterious and sinister figure with deep ties to Sookie and Jason." Additional actors joining the show include Jurnee Smollett-Bell ("Friday Night Lights"), Karolina Wydra and Luke Grimes ("Brothers & Sisters"), according to a True Blood fan site.
Season six will kick off right where season 5 left off. Remember Bill’s reincarnation? What about Sam and his shifter girlfriends, wolf daughter? Will Pam and Tara be a couple?
Although season 6, is only 10 episode as oppose to 12 due, to Anna Paquin’s (Sookie) pregnancy with real life love Stephen Moyer (Bill Compton), we are sure the show will continue to suck us in on Sunday nights.
True Blood season 5 is currently available on DVD and Blu-ray.
