'Suits' Season 5 Spoilers: Do Gabriel Macht, Patrick J. Adams Know Scotty's "Secret?"

Season 5 of Suits continues after its midseason premiere on USA Network. With Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) under investigation over fraud, will Harvey Spector (Gabriel Macht) need to reveal his ex Scotty (Abigail Spencer)'s "secret" in order to save him?

In our previous recap, while Gibbs was building her case against Mike, Harvey had to keep himself involved, even though he resigned. Loyalties are tested as Rachel's father, Robert (Wendall Mackie) now knows about Mike being a fraud. To order to keep Harvey's resignation secret, Mike promised to point the blame at Jack Soloff (John Pyper-Ferguson) unless he stopped going after Jessica (Gina Torres). Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman) knew he had to fire Donna (Sarah Rafferty) so that she could help Harvey and Mike.

In our recent recap, while Harvey (Gabriel Macht) was trying to figure out how to bail out Donna's father, Mike discovered someone had sent an email from Harvard to Gibbs. Louis read the email and discovered the writing belonged to his ex Sheila Sazs (Rachael Harris). Though Jeff (D.B. Woodside) wanted to help out Jessica, his love for her got in the way. Not only did Sheila snitch on Mike, Gretchen (Aloma Wright) started the ball rolling too.

According to TV Line, after showing up the midseason premiere, Scotty (Spencer) will resurface again, this upcoming Wednesday's episode.

With Gibb's subpoenas hitting Jessica hard, executive producer Aaron Korsh reveals the firm looks at Scott for "something to help them."

Korsh adds, "But she is a little resentful of [Mike's] secret, so she's not going to have the greatest response to that."

Viewers should also expect an intense confrontation between Scotty and Rachel (Meghan Markle). The Suits creator continues, "Both of their two men are in the crosshairs here. They have an interesting, little interaction where they get to express different points of view on what the consequences of this whole thing might be."

Suits continues its fifth season Wednesdays at 9pm on USA Network.
