By popular demand from fans and critics, Fox has two more episodes left of their iconic sci-fi/horror series. In the revival of The X-Files, the NBA basketball team Philadelphia 76ers had lots to say about Fox Mulder (David Duchovny)'s diss.

In our previous recap, though they have split apart, Mulder and Scully are reluctantly back together after Tad O'Malley (Joel McHale) provides physical proof of an alien abduction. Initially Scully had her doubts about Sveta (Annet Mahendru), Mulder believes she is the key. Because Roswell was misdirection, Mulder believes humans have been hoarding alien technology for their darker motives. After discrediting Tad to the press, Sveta is killed on the spot by a government-controlled alien ship. Cigarette Smoking Man (William B. Davies) has come out of hiding after heating The X-Files has been re-opened.

In our recent recap, Mulder and Scully were investigating The Trash Man murders, when she got the call about her mother's heart attack. As the Trash man continued his killing spree, Mulder stayed by Scully's side as her mother passed away on her hospital bed. After the Trash Man committed his last murder and disappeared, Scully realized she will never be okay, always wondering if her own son, William, is thinking about her.

According to Philly Mag, Home Again was filled with Mulder's disdain for the city of brotherly love. Mulder was so pleased with himself as he continued to make his own jabs at Philly while on the job, and in front of a cop too.

As Vulture mentions, writer/director Glen Morgan placed sports references throughout the episode, including one about Tim Duncan of the San Antonio Spurs, and another about how the Philadelphia 76ers "can't find the rim."

On Twitter, the 76ers responded to the last diss and rebutted on Twitter, "The truth is out there."

The X-Files continues Mondays at 8pm on Fox.
