Is Idris Elba Dating Naomi Campbell? SAG-Winning Actor Splits From Girlfriend Naiyana Garth

Luther star Idris Elba has reportedly split from his girlfriend, Naiyana Garth, whom he started dating in 2013. The news comes days after the 43-year-old actor was spotted with supermodel Naomi Campbell. Elba has also moved out of the London home he shared with Garth and their 22-month-old son, Winston.

The Sun reports that Elba moved into an apartment near his London home to remain close to his son.

"It ended very recently and it's too soon for her to talk about it," a source told The Sun. "They've kept it very quiet so she's surprised people know already. "

"It's very sad that this has happened while Idris is experiencing the highest points of his professional career and they can't celebrate it with each other."

Elba may have hinted there was trouble in paradise when he thanked many people at recent awards shows, but didn't mention Garth.

The Telegraph noted that Garth, a makeup artist, was not present when Elba won his two SAG Awards -- one for best actor in the BBC series Luther  and the other for best supporting actor in the drama Beasts of No Nation.

Elba also brought his daughter Isan to the award ceremony instead of Garth.

News of the split report comes days after the hunky actor was spotted leaving New York's 1 Oak nightclub with the supermodel.

Elba and Campbell became friends in 2014 after Elba took part in a Fashion for Relief charity event.

Campbell congratulated Elba the actor on his SAG Awards win last week on Twitter.

The supermodel certainly did not help damp the rumors by tweeting a photo of a huge bouquet of red roses earlier this week.
