It looks like it is a season of break-up in Indian Film industry. First it was Farhan Akhtar, who announced the news of his divorce with his wife Adhuna Bhabani Akhtar, then sources close to Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor revealed that they couple are not in the relationship anymore. Now, the third couple who has joined this league is none other than Anushka Sharma and Indian Cricketer Virat Kohli. The latest buzz suggests that Sharma's decision to take up Salman Khan's Sultan started the fire between the two and they mutually decided to part their ways.

According to Bollywood Life, Kohli, who is considered one of the best batsman in Indian cricket team at this time, took a break from upcoming India-Sri Lanka T-20 series as he wanted to spend the Valentine's Day with NH10 actress. But Sharma is extremely busy in preparing and shooting for her role in Khan's Sultan.

Another story swirling across the couple's break-up is Sharma's controlling nature that made Kohli feel cloistered. After bearing a heartbreak, Kohli again wanted to patch things up with Sharma. But a recent report from Mumbai Mirror contradicts this statement. An insider close to the cricketer was quoted by the daily as responding:

"All rumours about Virat trying to woo Anushka back are hogwash. He unfollowed her on Twitter and Instagram and then, uploaded, deleted and reuploaded a photograph of himself, originally captioned, 'Heartbroken'."

On the professional terms, Sharma recently finished shooting for Karan Johar's upcoming film, Ae Dil Hai Muhskil, in which she will be seen with Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Sharma is also extremely busy as apart from Sultan, she has three films lined up in 2016.

Sultan is being directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and is produced under Aditya Chopra's Yash Raj Films' banner. The action film will release around the festive season in 2016.
