Despite ending his epic feud with Cash Money Records mogul Bryan 'Birdman' Williams, rapper Lil Wayne has yet to release his highly-anticipated new album, The Carter V. But no worries - Weezy hasn't officially abandoned the music scene for good (yet)!

Fellow New Orleans emcee Curren$y just premiered another fresh track entitled "Fat Albert" (produced by Alchemist). And according to Hot New Hip-Hop, Wayne's lyrical skills still prove supreme despite such recent personal dilemmas:

He delivers some of his most inventive punchlines in recent memory, and sounds like he could keep going on he instrumental for another 300 bars or so, but thankfully, leaves us with plenty to chew on as it is.

Do MstarsNews readers agree?

The former YMCMB pals previously reunited on the viral track, "Bottom Of The Barrell." Hopefully there's even more to come from these two in the future:

Check out some stand-out lyrics here:

And your homie talking loud
'Bout what he gon' do
You know your homie ain't your homie
Til he bleed on you
You know you never know you love her
'Til she cheat on you
You know you never know your brother 'til he dethrone you
You know Lil Tunechi been a soldier since T-R-U
Fuck the heated argument, we let the heat argue
P-I-R-U brazy like glue

Curren$y debuted his eighth studio album Canal Street Confidential back in December (2015).
