Rapper Bankroll Fresh Reportedly Shot and Killed in Atlanta

Bankroll Fresh, the Atlanta based rapper known for the single "Hot Boy," has died at the tender age of 28.

Another day, another tragedy. The Hip-Hop community has unfortunately suffered another untimely loss. According to 11Alive, the rapper was a victim of homicide after being shot and later prenounced dead at a neighborhood hospital.

Fresh, who is also known as Trentavious White, was a star on the rise. The 28-year-old was dubbed one of the artists to watch as his popularity grew since 2014 with the release of his mixtape Life of a Hot Boy and collaborating with 2Chainz on his project last year.

The rising star, who was currently signed to rapper 2 Chainz' Street Exec Record Label, was found dead outside of Street Execs Studio in Northeast Atlanta on Friday night. An investigation is currently underway and law enforcement officials are dedicated to finding out who is behind the homicide.

The site reports that at least 50 shell casings were found on the ground outside of the studio. However, police have not shared how many gunshots hit the rapper. The studio is known for hosting well-known artists such as 2 Chainz and other talent on a regular basis. Many artists such as 2 Chainz, Lil Wayne, and Pusha T have taken to social media to give the friends and family of Bankroll their condolences.

At this time Lt. Charles Hampton of the Atlanta Police Department stated that no one else was harmed during the tragic events. So far no arrests have been made or details behind the motive of the shooting released. Police officers are currently awaiting a search warrant.
