It seems like the world has already taken sides when it comes to Captain America: Civil War, where some fans have chosen to go with Chris Evans' Steve Rogers while others are sticking with Robert Downey Jr.'s Team Iron Man. The stars of the Marvel Netflix series, Daredevil, have also announced their alliances, whether it is with Team Captain America or Team Tony Stark, but which side is Jon Bernthal's The Punisher on?

ComicBook.com recently asked the cast and crew of Daredevil which side they were on in Civil War. Although Charlie Cox, who plays Matt Murdock in the series, chose to be on Team Captain America and Amy Rutberg went with Team Iron Man, Bernthal decided to go with a good friend.

"Team Spider-Man!" he declared, confirming that he is rooting for Tom Holland, who will play the young webslinger in Civil War.

"That's my man, Tom's amazing," Bernthal said.

Bernthal and Holland have undoubtedly forged a friendship after working on the film The Pilgrimage -- so much so that they actually auditioned together for their respective Marvel roles. Holland has even shared a photo of the two actors together on Instagram and sparked some speculations that Spider-Man might appear in Daredevil Season 2. There were also rumors that Bernthal's Punisher might make a cameo in Civil War alongside Peter Parker.

Bernthal was not the only one who didn't choose between Captain America or Iron Man. Daredevil showrunner Doug Petrie opted to go with his own team.

"Team Daredevil!" Petrie shouted proudly.

The second season of Daredevil will finally introduce Bernthal as The Punisher as well as Elodie Yung as Elektra Natchios and will debut on Netflix on March 18. Captain America: Civil War will premiere on May 6.
