Weeks after confirming David Hasselhoff would be part of the cast of the upcoming Baywatch movie reboot, the original Mitch Buchannon actor has shared a snap alongside his replacement in the role, Dwayne Johnson... and now, in a set photo posted on their respective Twitter and Instagram accounts, The Rock and The Hoff showed the world the two faces of Mitch!

Johnson took to Instagram to share the side-by-side comparison of two generations of Mitch Buchannons, along with a long and sweet post about how privileged he felt to be working with The Hoff in the movie reboot.

"In the 80's he drove the coolest car on the planet. In the 90's he dominated slo-mo running on the beach with the most successful TV show of all time. And today he's simply Still the f'n man," wrote Johnson. "Phenomenal day on set with my brotha - the OG himself @DavidHasselhoff - the man who started it all. Great dude with a great sense of humor. AND he trained his ass off for our movie."

In fact, Hasselhoff does look about as fit as he was in those days, where he first started running in slow motion around the beach. So we'll be taking The Rock's word for it!

Hasselhoff later posted the same snap on Twitter, besides another one with part of the cast and crew from the Baywatch movie, including Zac Efron, who will be playing Matt Brody, the role played by David Charvet in the original series.

The Baywatch movie reboot is just one of many projects going on reviving beloved 90's properties. Recently, Netflix released Fuller House, a sequel/reboot of Full House; Showtime is currently working on a Twin Peaks miniseries sequel and Nickelodeon recently announced they'd be bringing back some of its most popular cartoons from the decade.

In any case, the Baywatch movie reboot will be out in theaters on May 19, 2017.
