The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss has been getting use to motherhood and finally opened up to let her fans get to know her newborn son, Ace Wells Tucker. While doing so, Burruss also revealed why she chose a Safari-themed nursery for her sons first room.

During an interview with People, Burruss, who's married to Todd Tucker, claimed that she picked the nursery because it was where she met her future husband, and father of her son. “We wanted a safari theme because we met in Africa, but we didn’t want it to be over the top,” the second time-around mother explained.

“It’s safari chic,” her husband Tucker added. “Safari clean.”

Baby Tucker has a room filled with stuffed animals to keep him company; he even has a swinging gorilla.

As for getting used to having another male in the house, Burruss said that she was overjoyed to learn that she would be welcoming a boy.

“I always wanted a boy so we were super excited because we have two girls and they give us much attitude,” Burruss said. “We were looking forward to having a boy.”

Both Burruss and Tucker have daughters from previous relationships. Burruss' daughter Riley is now 13, and Tucker's daughter Kaela is 19. It's been years since the couple raised babies and even admitted that their son had them feeling like they were parents for the first time.

“It’s like starting all over,” Burruss explained. “We were like, ‘Which bottles do we use? What diapers do we buy?’ Simple stuff that you would think I already know and I don’t. It’s silly.”

MStars News previously reported that Baby Tucker made his grand enterance into the world back in January. Besides his older sisters, little Tucker will have plenty of playmates from the Harris family. T.I. and Tiny Harris (Burruss' best friend) just welcomed a baby girl over the weekend.
