Paul Rudd's Ant-Man Meets Chris Evans' Captain America in Hilarious New 'Civil War' Clip

Anyone would be excited to meet a celebrity, but can a superhero actually get starstruck when shaking hands with another (taller and slightly more attractive) superhero? In a hilarious Captain America: Civil War sneak peek, Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) finds himself in the presence of Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) and is immediately dumbfounded.

The Civil War cast was recently guests on Jimmy Kimmel Live, where they presented a clip from Captain America 3. The sneak peek opens with Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) announcing that he has a new recruit before opening the door to a van when Rudd's Scott Lang is lying on the seats. He clumsily gets up and greets the people in front of him, which turn out to be Captain America and Falcon (Anthony Mackie). "You're Captain America," he says as Steve shakes his hand.

The First Avenger welcomes him into the team, but Scott isn't quite ready to let go of Steve's hand just yet. "I'm shaking your hand too long," Scott finally realizes before turning to Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), who he claims he's also heard about her too. "You're awesome!" he tells her.

Ant-Man certainly has every right to be starstruck by Cap. After all, the superhero has saved the world numerous times (twice in the Captain America films and twice in the Avengers movies).

The clip offers a glimpse on just how Ant-Man will add some needed humor in Civil War, which is already expected to be much darker than the previous Marvel Cinematic Universe movies. Nevertheless, the serious tone of the film hasn't stopped critics from giving it positive reviews.

Captain America: Civil War also stars Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man, Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow and Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes/The Winter Soldier. The movie will premiere on May 6.
