Fast and Furious 8 or Fast 8 is all set for release on April 14, 2017. The film is going to feature an ensemble cast but the world is surely going to miss Paul Walker. Michelle Rodriguez, who plays Letty in the action-thriller film, is not happy for anyone filling the void that has been left by her dear friend Walker.

There were earlier reports by Deadline that Scott Eastwood is going to replace Walker's character in the film. Further reports suggested that Eastwood is going to play the role of Walker's long lost brother in Fast 8. Eastwood confirmed the news by posting a heart touching message on his official Instagram handle, in which he gave tribute to Walker and he captioned the uploaded image as:

"It's hard to put into words how excited I am for the next Fast & Furious. To me, the series is so much more than just a franchise. It's a legacy."

The actor further wrote that he is going to make Walker proud by his acting.

When 37-year-old Rodriguez heard about it, she openly stated that no one can ever replace the character of Brian O'Conner. While talking with TMZ, the actress revealed that the franchise has suffered a great lost due to Walker's death. Although the actress further stated that Eastwood is a cool actor, but still, no one can replace Walker "as long as she lives."

Along with Mad Max: Fury Road actress Charlize Theron, Fast 8 will feature Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham and Rodriguez.

Fast 8's production is going to begin from next month. Do you think that Universal Pictures will ever find someone who is remotely close to Walker? Tell us in the comments.
