Coachella isn't one of the biggest music events of the year without good reason. The quick-to-sell-out, insanely pricey music festival in Indio, California is a hot spot for music lovers and celebrities alike, with top-notch bands, rappers and DJs grabbing the focus of just about everybody. This year's two-weekend event brought in Coachella regulars like Kylie and Kendall Jenner, Paris Hilton, Leonardo DiCaprio, Cody Simpson, Zach Braff, Amber Rose, Jaden Smith and Lea Michele to the desert.

The draw to Coachella is understandable given the jam-packed lineup. This year featured LCD Soundsystem, Calvin Harris and Gun N' Roses, while 2015 presented acts like AC/DC, Jack White and Drake. In 2014, the festival brought mainstage acts like OutKast, Muse and Arcade Fire. While Coachella sold out pretty quickly on the secondary market, tickets on the resale market were no cheaper (or easy to obtain). 3-day passes averaged $871 for both weekends combined, clocking in as one of the summer's priciest ticket thus far.

Other festivals are continuing to stay high in price on the resale market -- most notably Lollapalooza in Chicago, Governors Ball in New York City and Panorama Festival which is also in the Big Apple. 4-day passes to the sold-out Lollapalooza are going for $693 on the secondary market, with the cheapest passes priced at $457. Governors Ball is a bit cheaper than Lolla, as 3-day passes are going for $595, with the cheapest up for grabs for $357. Tickets to Panorama on Randall's Island are within the same range as its New York competitor, as 3-day passes are averaging $530, with a get-in pass going for $375, according to data provided by ticket aggregator, TiqIQ.

Although the biggest names in Hollywood seem to love Coachella above all other festival events, many top names in film, music, and more have been spotted at various other festivals each year. Lollapalooza celeb sightings have included John Legend, QuestLove, Elijah Wood, Chet Haze, Danny Masterson, Samantha Ronson and more.
