Game of Thrones S06E02: Home Maisie Williams, Kit Harington Premiere Recap

HBO airs the premiere of the acclaimed Season 6 of Game of Thrones. In episode 2, Home, Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) and Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) continue with author George R.R. Martin's ongoing epic saga.

Deep underground, Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright) is ion his vision quest, reliving memories of his father. A young Hordor, whose real name is Willis, talks in his revisited memory. Bran is forced out and wakes up in the caves. In the snow, Bran meets with Meera (Ellie Kendrick), who wants to fight the war. The child tells Meera that Bran will need her when he leaves the caves.

 Night has comes an Thorne and his army are ready to take down Davos Seaworth (Liam Cunningham)  and his men. Davos unsettles his word as Thorne breaks down the door. 

Everyone stops when the Wildlings  rampage through the walls. Outnumbered, Thorne and his army are forced to surrender. Everyone agrees Jon Snow is dead and his dead body must be burnt.

Elsewhere, the crowd laughs as the drunken fool mocks Jamie Lannister. The drunken fool is then killed for what he has said. The king has ordered his men to block Cersei from leaving her quarters. Cersei (Lena Headey) cannot even attend her own daughter's funeral. The king tells Jamie (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) that he is afraid of his mother being sent back to her cell. He failed to protect his wife and mother. 

The High Sparrow (Jonathan Sparrow) shows ups at the ceremony and speaks with Jamie. The cult shows up before Jamie is about to strike at the High Sparrow. Jamie Learns the High Sparrow wants to overthrow an empire. 

Following Jamie's advice, the son apologizes to Cersei. The king should have executed all of them; she raised him to be strong. Cerise breaks down her coldness and his her son tightly.

Far away, Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) thinks their is a way to unchain the dragons and contour them. The dragons will learn that Tyrion is their friend. Down in the tunnels, the two dragons crawl towards Tyrion as he pleads with them not to eat the help. He talks to them, lays his hand on their skin, and unhooks their chain. 

As a blind beggar, Arya takes another beating. She swings at nothing but air before the Faceless Man stops her. Jaqen H'ghar (Tom Wlaschiha) mentions he will get her eyes back when she learns she has no name. 

Ramsay (Iwan Rheon) stabs Lord Bolton with his blade and says he was poisoned by his enemies. Ramsay sees his baby brother and feeds him to the wolves. With the heir dead, Ramsay can claim he is Lord Bolton.  

Brienne (Gwendoline Christie) tells Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) about the last time she saw Arya. Theon (Alfie Allen) has to leave and go home to make amends. After an intense argument  with Yara Greyjoy (Gemma Whelan), father is murdered by her uncle. 

Davos meets with Melisandre (Carice van Houten) and asks for magic to bring back Jon. During the ritual, Melisandre washes away the blood, cuts the hair, and chants the words. 

Jon wakes up after everyone leaves the room.
