Fear The Walking Dead Season 2 Spoilers: Will Andrew Lincoln/Rick Grimes "Wake Up From Coma?"

AMC has aired the mid-Season 2 finale of Fear The Walking Dead. In The Walking Dead spinoff from comic book creator Robert Kirkman,will Kim Dickens (Gone Girl) and Cliff Curtis (Training Day) see Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) "wake up from coma?"

As we previously mentioned, Fear The Walking Dead follows the origin story of the mysterious outbreak and its ramifications. Following high school guidance counselor Madison Clark (Dickens) and English teacher Travis Manawa (Curtis), they have to protect their teenage children against the unforeseen chaos. In the survival of the fittest, the Clarks and Manawas have to stick together if they want to survive the apocalypse.

The second season of the AMC drama has been granted a 15-episode arc, which will be split into two parts. The first half, at least seven episodes, will launch in April and the rest of the second half will air sometime later in 2016. Is it possible that the timelines will converse in The Waking Dead and Fear The Walking Dead?

In an interview with TV Line, showrunner Dave Erickson reveals, "If you marked off the days [that have passed on air since Fear TWD debuted], I think right now, by the end of the first half [of Season 2], we're getting very close to Rick waking up in Georgia. [Fear The Walking Dead survivors have] arrived at a place where they're up to speed on how one deals with the apocalypse and the dead."

Erickson though mentions if Madison will eventually turn ruthless as Rick, "That wasn't a matter of 'We have to have one of our core characters do something that seems incredibly immoral or violent in order to catch up with where they should be. That was more a mother who was trying to protect her son [Nick] from, essentially, a drug dealer."

Season 2 of Fear The Walking Dead will returns for the next half on AMC.
