'Doctor Strange' Villain REVEALED: Leaked Spoilers Mads Mikkelsen Marvel Baddie!

After the Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 4 opener, Captain America: Civil War, hit theaters earlier this summer, it's time for the Disney-owned studio to focus on its next film, the one supposed to give a twist to superhero movies: Doctor Strange. Months before the film's fall release, the Benedict Cumberbatch-led movie is shrouded in mystery -- but a new leak could reveal Mads Mikkelsen's villain!

According to Heroic Hollywood, a recently released toy from Doctor Strange may have given away one of the movie's biggest secrets. After months of speculation regarding Mikkelsen's role in the magic-themed superhero movie, the description for the soon-to-be-released Marvel Minimates toy pack could finally bring some clues.

Possible spoilers ahead!

The Diamond Select Toys release (due out soon) will feature a series of mini figurines focused on the Doctor Strange movie, and the characters will be sold in pairs. One of them seems to be the villain set: Baron Mordo (who we know to be Oscar nominee Chiwetel Ejiofor) and Kaecilius, who apparently will be Mikkelsen's character.

"So who is Kaecilius? In the comics, he's a minor character who was actually an apprentice of Baron Mordo, acting as a messenger and agent for the sinister magic user," reads io9 Gizmodo's description of the character. "It might just be a borrowed name, but if Mikkelsen's character is like his comic book counterpart, it might indicate that Mordo [...] will go bad at some point."

This does, in fact, match up with what we know of Mikkelsen's role in the film. Months back, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige said the actor was playing "a sorcerer who breaks off into his own sect," so it would make sense; even more so considering Mikkelsen himself said days back that his character had strong beliefs regarding what he was doing and was "not necessarily wrong."

The Doctor Strange baddie is only one of two major villains Mikkelsen will be playing on the big screen this year: he's also set to star in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

In any case, this wouldn't be the first time an early toy release spoils a plot detail of an MCU movie. Earlier this year, popular Funko Pop Vinyls released its Captain America: Civil War line and, among the characters shown, featured Giant-Man -- thus showing fans all over the world that Paul Rudd's Ant-Man would go very, very big in the movie.

Still, that epic airport fighting scene wasn't any less satisfying for knowing what was coming.

Doctor Strange hits theaters on November 4.
