[Video] Pirates of the Caribbean 5 First Trailer, Release Date Now Here! Where is Jack?

'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales' directed by Kon-Tiki directors Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg now released its first ever trailer. This ever-loved Disney movie which is now in its 5th Series will be released on May 26, 2017. However, Jack Sparrow is certainly not anywhere to be found in the said trailer.

Speculations and rumours are threatening Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) fans. The big question for them is; can you imagine Pirates of the Caribbean without Johnny Depp?

It seems like a promotional suicide of the movie not to include Depp in the Trailer. As reported by The Hollywood Gossip, Depp's Oscar-nominated portrayal of Jack Sparrow on the big screen as the most famous captain is the main reason why it is found so much success in the first place since the movie started. Likewise, Captain Jack Sparrow is the main protagonist who made the film a success and a franchise continue to get made.

Captain Jack Sparrow's character is beloved by fans not only because of his funny gestures and facial expressions but also with his humorous acts and fighting scenes. And it annoyed them seeing Johnny Depp is missing on the trailer.

According to Hindustan Times, this almost 2-minute-long teaser seems like the franchise is getting back to its roots. Similar to the 'Curse of the Black Pearl', this 'Dead Men Tell No Lies' appears to have struck the right balance between action, humour, fantasy and scares scenes.

Several characters in the movie seemed to be a match for Jack Sparrow in the teaser: Captain Salazar is played by Javier Bardem, Orlando Bloom as Will Turner and Geoffrey Rush as Hector Barbossa. New characters include Carina Smith as Kaya Scodelario, Haifaa Meni as Golshifteh Farahani and Brenton Thwaites.

However, fans should not be bothered, because of course; Johnny Depp will be featured prominently in the film. Maybe when another teaser is released soon, and you will see Captain Jack Sparrow's character in the plot.
