'Star Wars 8' Spoilers: Han Solo Still Alive, A Woman To Take Over The Role

All eyes of "Star Wars" fans are set for "Star Wars 8" rumors that Han Solo is still alive while other speculates that a woman will take over the role. Three frontrunners are dying to get the role; Is it Tessa Thompson, Zoe Kravitz or Naomi Scott to win the role as Han Solo?

As fans can recall, Han Solo is one of the fan-favorite characters in "Star Wars." His death in the "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," made fans feel brokenhearted. As he was gored by the red lightsaber of his son, Kylo Ren and the character was famously portrayed by Harrison Ford.

As reported by Morning Ledger, many fans could not move on after the death of Han Solo. The main reason why fans were continuously creating theories that he could still be alive. However, new reports raise the female will take over his role. This sound confusing. So, how could it happen?

According to iTech Post, Han Solo's character will return in two possible survival theories. The first theory is the so-called "double-agent theory." This will use Kylo Ren's ability to hold blaster bolts in place via the force, where he could have bent the saber around Han Solo to make it look like that it was a clean stabbing.

The second theory is that as Han Solo's death will closely resemble a confrontation between Luke and Darth Vader. There is also a huge possibility that Han can survive a similar fall just like what happened to Luke.

The latest news mentioned that "Star Wars" is currently on the hunt for someone to portray Han Solo's role. And three women are already tested in London to play the character.

Tessa Thompson portrayed lots of characters such as for the movie "Creed." She also played as Jackie Cook on the TV series 'Veronica Mars', and she is also part of the upcoming 'Thor: Ragnarok' from Marvel as Valkyrie.

Zoe Kravitz, on the other hand, is famous for the "Mad Max: Fury Road," the "Divergent" series, "After Earth" and "X-Men: First Class." Currently, she will be seen in "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them."

And the closest to getting the role is Naomi Scott; she's been known for her role in the Steven Spielberg-produced TV show "Terra Nova." In the future, she will be playing as Kimberly or Pink Ranger for the new 'Power Rangers' reboot.
