CONFIRMED: Bill Goldberg Returns To WWE Raw To Accept Paul Heyman's Challenge

Hear the WWE Universe chanting! "Goldberg! Goldberg!" After years of speculating and months of lingering rumors about his return, Bill Goldberg has announced his arrival this coming Monday Night Raw.

Goldberg's return is to answer a very cocky Paul Hayman who was "authorized" to come out and announce a challenge for a fight from his client Brock Lesnar. The challenge according Paul Hayman himself, was due to the fact that Goldberg was still "One Up" on Lesnar and that doesn't seem to sit well with "The Beast Incarnate".

Advocate Paul Heyman further taunted Goldberg saying, "In Suplex City, you're not Goldberg," the mic-man concluded, "You're 'Next!'"

Goldberg wasted no time in answering the challenge as he tweeted,

Knowing Brock Lesnar, he is not one to back out on a fight. So, he is also expected to be in the same venue where Monday Night Raw will take place. This will be Bill's first appearance on RAW since March 2004 and his first time in a WWE ring since Wrestlemania 20 which was the very day "The Myth" defeated "The Beast".

According to ftw.usatoday Bill acknowledged in an interview with ESPN  last week to promote the WWE 2K17 videogame that he would owe Lesnar a rematch if ever he came back.

A huge comeback by "The Myth" may pour excitement on Raw but WWE fans worry whether a "nearly 50 year old" Bill Goldberg would still stand a chance against a UFC fighting Beast who is 10 years younger and owns a nasty reputation of leaving his WWE opponents a bloody mess like Randy Orton.

While Bill retired in his far-removed Farm, Lesnar went on dominating challenges. Bill Goldberg is also rumored to show up in the highly anticipated 30th Royal Rumble or maybe even on Wrestle Mania 33 soon to happen on April 2, 2017.
