Custody agreement between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt final or temporary?

Angelina Jolie would like to tell everyone that she and Brad Pitt have agreed on the custody of their six children. A representative said that Angelina and Brad have decided that Angie will have legal and physical custody of their kids and Brad will continue to have "therapeutic visits." This looks exactly like the divorcing couple's previous child custody plan and sources close to the two said otherwise.

Brad Pitt has replied to Angelina Jolie's divorce filing last Friday and also plans to get joint custody of his children. There were also reports that Brad negating Angelina's plans could result in a long-standing custody battle.

People reported what Jolie's rep said "We can confirm that childcare professionals have encouraged a legal agreement accepted and signed by both sides over a week ago. In accordance with this agreement, the six children will stay in their mother's custody, and the children will continue therapeutic visits with their father. This has been determined by childcare professionals to be in the children's best interest."

The rep also said that they were not in the position to discuss all the information and asks the respect and consideration of people especially since minor children are involved. But even with this official statement issued by Jolie, there are still rumors that this is still part of their original custody arrangement and not a final custody decision.  

Daily Mail reported Brad Pitt's filing of his response to the divorce in the Superior Court of California, Los Angeles last Friday. It said that the actor cited irreconcilable difference as the reason for their divorce and lists down September 15 as their separation date.

Angelina Jolie filed for a divorce from Brad Pitt on September 19 after Brad allegedly had an altercation with their son Maddox Jolie Pitt. The actor was said to have been physically and verbally abusive with their son aboard their private jet. Jolie said that she filed for divorce for the overall health of her family while rumors said that she just can't stand Brad's drinking and weed use. Jolie has filed for full legal and physical custody of all her children.
