The first installment of the "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them" is set to release in theaters only next week and news of the sequel have already been making headlines. The five-part movie is a "Harry Potter" spin-off also written by the famous J.K. Rowling.

Although the first part of "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them" is yet to hit the big screens, plans for the sequel have been formed and is in the works. It was recently confirmed that the younger version of Hogwart's famous headmaster, Albus Dumbledore, will appear.

The director David Yates confirmed to the The Leaky Cauldron that Dumbledore will indeed be back in the sequel. Yates revealed that he will have a "couple of good scenes with Newt (Eddie Redmayne)".

News that Albus Dumbledore will be part of the sequel made every "Harry Potter" fan happy to see the wise headmaster live again, even tough younger. Dumbledore died in "Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince" and "Harry Potter" fans mourned his death.

Gellert Grindelwald, Dumbledore's friend-turned-enemy in the "Harry Potter" series, will also be present in the "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them" movie. It was reported that he will play a vital role in the films. The character was said to possibly show up in the first installment and will be played by Johnny Depp according to Vanity Fair.

In 2007, it was revealed by "Harry Potter" author J.K Rowling that Dumbledore is gay and that Grindelwald is his love interest. It was hinted by Yates that viewers may expect a "tragic Dumbledore-Grindelwald romance" over the course of "Fantastic Beasts" films.

The role of Dumbledore is yet to cast, and Yates had jokingly asked for suggestions who will play the part. Yates and producer David Heyman confirmed that Michael Gambon will not reprise his role because they are looking for someone younger. The plot of the "Fantastic Beasts" movies is set in the 1920s, decades before Dumbledore became Hogwart's Headmaster.

Other than hinting that the sequel for "Fantastic Beasts" will move deeper into an increasingly dark time for the wizarding world, Yates and Heyman did not provide any further update for its plot. "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 2" is scheduled for release in 2018. Meanwhile, the first installment will hit the big screens in November 17.
