It appears that Carmelo Anthony is the hot topic for NBA trade rumors and he will continue to be for the next few days, it was stated earlier that Carmelo will be traded to the Cavaliers and will join LeBron James.

The New York Knicks superstar was supposed to be exchanged for Kevin Love, but it seems that the Cavaliers are not tending to trade Love at the moment because of his impressive numbers and progress in the game as per Head Lines and Global News.

Carmelo is in great demand as four players are lined up to the New York Knicks in order to give up their superstar. Rumor has it that the deal is proposed exempting Love but instead Tristan Thompson, Jordan McRae, Kay Felder and Channing Frye are on the list to get Carmelo into Cleveland Cavaliers

The offer is certainly appealing, as for Carmelo he has been in the league for 13 years but has not been in any NBA finals. On the other hand it is believed that King James will push forward to make this deal go through. James has always dreamt of playing along with Anthony, Chris Paul and Dwayne Wade. It might be probably his last wish to make it happen before they retire.

According to Jobs and Hire, Carmelo is having trouble with the triangle style of offence.  It looks like he has no other options because it is Jackson's instructions to use the triangle offence for the Knicks.

The Cavs are surely looking to upgrade their roster, and it might turn out that Carmelo will take that position. As per the top five draft pick in 2003, Carmelo was the only one who has not yet pulled off a championship win unlike Chris Bosh, Dwayne Wade and James.

The NBA trade has a high possibility that the Cavaliers will pull off the deal with the New York Knicks to obtain Carmelo.
