Xiaomi Mi TV 4 is 4.9mm thick and has AI content suggestions

Chinese electronics company headquartered in Beijing, Xiaomi, has just announced the release of its new Mi TV 4 that is only 4.9 mm thick. Xiaomi is the world's fourth largest smart phone maker, specializing in laptops, smart phones, tablets and other electronic gadgets.

Xiaomi has equipped Mi TV4 with its indigenous software "Patch Wall" that keeps a record of your watched channels and provide a number other facilities. Mi TV 4 is coupled with a 10 sound bar speakers, two wireless speakers, and Dolby sound support system.

The retail introductory price for 65-inch Mi TV4 is fixed at $2000 USD, reports The Verge. Other versions of the TV are 49-inch and 59-inch units. In addition, Xiaomi has also revealed its Mi Mix smart phone with a blasting 8 TB built in storage.

Gadgets reported that Mi TV4 is thinner than the thinnest TV trending in the market. This feature of Mi TV4 really matters and for the first time, a Chinese brand achieved the "first" in the field of TV set manufacturing. Being a modular product, Mi TV4 allows users to upgrade its hardware including the motherboard. Mi TV4 is installed with a modular system which separates the panel from the electronics.

The new Mi TV 4 is claimed to be a landmark for performance in graphics, screen resolution, installed intelligent software "Patch wall", connectivity and many other features. Price wise, Mi TV4 will offer a tough time to its competitors Sony, Samsung and Heir in the market.

Xiaomi also announced in its CES 2017 the introduction of their new router Mi Router HD scheduled to be launched in the first quarter of this year. There are two versions of the router, 1TB and 8TB.
