The 'It's My Life' band is opening a free contest for new bands in the US. The selected group will have the chance to be in the arenas next to Bon Jovi for his upcoming 2017 US tour. All the winners will perform with him in the opening acts.

The Bon Jovi band is looking for small bands across the nation with big talent to support their opening acts. The information was released through the official band website and social media.

"Every great band starts small and builds their rep one show at a time. That's the opportunity we were given and now we want to pay it forward. If you're ready for the arena stage, submit your audition tapes and join us in playing for the best audiences in rock music," the band was quoted by UK Pressfrom .

The competition is promoted by 'Live Nation', which will manage the contest. The representatives will pick 10 finalists that later will be chosen officially by each rock band member selecting six of them to play. For each winner will correspond a specific date and about five shows each.

The upcoming tour is called "This House Is Not for Sale" starting on Feb. 8 in Greenville, South Carolina and will end up on April 11 in Toronto. The in-between dates and locations are on hold and must wait until the announcement through official pages, shares Billboard.

To apply for the contest the bands should go to Bon Jovi's official website or Live Nation to upload their audition videos.

It's not the first time this band makes open contest for local - in 2006 for "Have A Nice Day" and in 2010 for "The Circle Tour", according to Broadway world .

The contest is already open to apply. Here's the application form via Facebook.
