Will.i.am is one of the most notable judges in 'The Voice' UK version. He is also one of the judges who stayed for so long in the show. But it has been reported recently that Will.i.am almost jumped out of the show. Luckily, it is "almost" and the filming of the current series hasn't started yet. One might think that it is because of the show's transfer from BBC to ITV, or other matters. But the real reason was because of the arrival of one of this year's new coaches.

It seems that the new coach Gavin Rossdale is the reason why Will almost jumped out of the franchise. Gavin Rossdale is the front man of the rock band "Bush". He is also an actor and is seen on different films such as "Zoolander" and "How to Rob a Bank." But Rossdale is more popularly known as the previous husband of Gwen Stefani. Rossdale and Stefani has filed divorce April last year because of "irreconcilable differences".

Not that Will has any personal grudges with Rossdale. The real reason for his almost untimely exit is because Will is a good friend of Stefani. The Black Eyes Peas and Stefani worked on several projects such as this, acording to MTV News. Working with Rossdale made Will feeling unsure of what to do. It is not like working with your friend's ex husband happens everyday.

"ITV had to pull out all the stops to try and persuade him to stay on the show. Will felt he was placed in a really difficult situation because of his friendship with Gwen. But he was eventually talked around not least as he is such a professional. He has put any issues he might have had aside and is determined to make this series of the Voice the best he can." said by an unnamed TV source as quoted by The Mirror. According to TV Sources, the most senior executives of the company made the convincing talk to make Will stay.
